2.Cook lentils according to package instructions.

Boil for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are fork-tender, drain them thoroughly, and return to the pot. 4.In a pan over medium heat, sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
5.Add carrots, peas, corn, cooked lentils, tomato paste, thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
6.Transfer the lentil mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
7.Top with a layer of mashed potatoes, spreading them to cover the lentil mixture entirely.
8.Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
9.Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
